Lessons learned and what I’d do differently: 1. Pay with a credit card if you can 😉 2. Get everything in writing. Everything. 3. If you’re new to this type of work, consider someone else. Or, find someone who isn’t new to it and make them point on your project. 4. Make sure you have a good internal sales process to use, as they do not come with that. 5. If you prefer a transparent sales process, consider looking elsewhere. 6. If timeliness is important to you, consider looking elsewhere. 7. If you’re unsure about something, don’t move forward anyway. The success of your project with them is entirely contingent on you. Not them. Work it out until you’re sure. 8. If you like working with companies that take ownership of their process, their shortcomings and their word- this one is probably not right for you.
