Working with VMS Data has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing business experiences we’ve ever encountered. Their pricing model is predatory, confusing, and designed to extract as much money as possible while delivering the bare minimum in return. What should have been straightforward website and domain services quickly turned into an overpriced, high-pressure sales environment with constant upselling and unclear billing. Throughout multiple interactions, their communication was consistently unprofessional, aggressive, and dismissive. Instead of providing support or transparency, they repeatedly made the process more stressful and difficult than it needed to be. Every conversation felt like a battle — not a partnership. What makes this even worse is the way VMS Data responded when they learned we were migrating our domain to a new provider. They went out of their way to complicate the process and even removed the site from Google’s index, causing immediate damage to our online visibility. This appears to have been done in direct reaction to our choice to leave their service, and the result was unnecessary work, delays, and harmful impact on our business’s digital presence. Even after canceling all services and products — with documentation confirming those cancellations — we continued to receive charges for services we no longer authorized or used. We were forced to dispute these charges manually, adding yet another layer of frustration to an already exhausting situation. This ongoing billing after cancellation further reflects the disorganized and troubling nature of VMS Data’s internal practices. Overall, we cannot recommend VMS Data to anyone. The combination of predatory pricing, unprofessional communication, retaliatory actions that damaged our website’s visibility, and unauthorized charges after cancellation makes this a company we strongly advise others to avoid. There are far more reputable, transparent, and customer-focused providers available.

VMS Data reported my friend's website from Google's Index for spam removal request when he canceled services on November 20th of 2025. I have never seen such retaliatory behavior from a company. Initially I wanted to add some pages for my friend's company and they insisted that they had to do it or it would sever the business relationship. Which also meant having to cancel hosting. Making a new website. All things that I didn't want to do. They refused to work with anyone or give my client access to his own website. So they removed the Google Search Console and destroyed my client's data. And they submitted a removal request, not once, but twice, after they had cancelled. It showed me after I re-verified the domain in Google Search Console. Absolute scumbags. One of the worst companies in SEO and that is really saying something. Traffic is way up since leaving. These guys don't do anything and send bad reports that hide how little you actually get. Even at $200/month you are over paying.

VMS is the best! We’ve been a customer for 10 plus years and has grown our Garage door Business greatly. VMS is a great long term partner for marketing needs and a great friendships have been build with them.
