Grant and Jared from the Databender team took an idea from my head and made it a reality. As a non-technical person, it was like magic to be able to communicate my vision in plain English and have it turned into a database with products built on top to manipulate the insights found. The attention to detail and emphasis on carrying out my vision instead of opting for simpler, less effective strategies made me feel that they were truly trying to create something with me rather than for me. The Databender team kept in constant communication with me, asking for my input throughout the entirety of the project. This was essential. Just like a good chef tastes their meal throughout the cooking process to make necessary adjustments on the fly, Grant and Jared would provide me with test-runs so that I could give real-time feedback to ensure that what they delivered in the end was exactly what I needed.
