It’s rare that I wish I could choose a negative number of stars for a review, but this is one of those times. We bought a home in the foothills in 2023 where AV Specialists had installed three systems (cameras, TV, and audio) for the prior owner. The work was recent. There were issues with all three systems - wiring that was bad but should have been fine, components that were poorly installed, and lower end equipment for which a premium price had been charged. We brought in AV Specialists to bid to upgrade two of the systems. The upgrade bid was high and for low end equipment. We used them for some of the more basic work. The project took months instead of weeks. Follow up was poor. Hours billed were high for simple jobs. Responsiveness to calls and emails was terrible. If you buy a home where they’ve done work, check your options vs just bring them in. I regret having done so. While I love supporting small businesses, there are plenty of better alternatives.

This is a awesome company. I had a small job of an install a camera and mesh system set up. Miguel set everything up and answered questions and explained everything thoroughly. He was courteous and mindful of property. He cleaned up after the job and everything worked great. If I could give them more than 5 starts I would. I will definitely use them in the future.

AV Specialists upgraded my whole house audio and outdoor sound systems. Jim and Matt made the process easy and produced a phenomenal end result. Great customer service with a positive attitude and high quality work. Highly recommend for all of your home theater projects!

Chad and the crew at AV Specialists took care of my low voltage cable and CAT 6 installation for a major remodeling project. They did an outstanding job, provided the network equipment, did a flawless installation and made sure everything was set up and functioned correctly. Chad answered all my questions before and after the installation. You feel like a client, not just a customer. Trust me...your contractor cannot do this. You need professionals!
