Training Scientists

I attended the Python for Scientists course through TUM and I really appreciate it. I'm a complete beginner with zero background in Python, but this course alone was enough to get me started. With the help of AI tools, I now feel confident trying to apply Python to my own project analyses. Thank you Maurice for such a clear and accessible introduction!

Great course, I really learned a lot. I have struggled for a really long time to find a suitable Python course for scientist and data analysis. Most of the courses out there are either too basic or too complex, going into completely irrelevant details (I am a Physicist). However, Maurice adopted a practical and solution-oriented approach, teaching with relevant examples and vast sets of data, making the course not only immensely useful, but also fun. There were also exercises we needed to do, followed by live tutorials where we could ask our questions and Maurice always took the time to go in detail through those questions. Since I did not really have a data-analysis background with Python, it was really satisfying to go through these exercises and actually be able to do (parts of) them on my own. Of course, I still need a lot of practice :), but the course really helped me build a solid foundation, making my follow-up Python experience much more structured and pleasant. Thanks Maurice for the great course, my time was well spent!
