Panasonic Energy of North America (Reno Recruitment Office)

It’s a job. They take care of you once you get there. My recruiter wasn’t the best, was late to my scheduled interview. Well she was there but had to talk about personal matters with coworkers before starting my interview late. Benefits are good. A lot of incentives but that’s mostly because they can’t keep people or get them to show up. Commute sucks. Sure they have shuttles but you’ll leave the factory late, get home late and suddenly your 12 hour day is a 14 hour day. Luckily I moved and got another job. Had I stayed in Reno I’m not sure I would’ve stayed with Panasonic.

This place is ran by a bunch of degenerate losers AKA nobodies, mostly women from what I saw, if they're in relationships they're probably driving their partners crazy due to stress. I'm thinking of taking these people to court for how lazy and incompetent they are at their jobs, I've also seen many reviews about discrimination towards people. Theres a reason their phone number isn't listed on their google SEO page becuase they know how much scrutiny they will face for treating people like garbage.

So just dropping a new hire off at the convention center for orientation! The worst experience ever. They were told to be there at 7:45, no further instructions! So we went to the entrance and waited until 8:15 with about 20 other people to be told they all needed to go to the back of the convention center, nothing was marked to let these people know where to go. Please companies give precise directions so future employees came arrive on time without the added stress of not knowing where to go.

Former Employee - Not worth it ! yet I will leave my great review The most amazing experience of information and knowledge I ever had when inquiring about the company. I called and spoke with Lauren, what an asset Panasonic has with her. The amount of history and exceptionally detailed knowledge/intelligence about the company is remarkable. We spoke about the positions and advancement opportunities there are with the company. She gave me more than enough information about the positions and the impact that Panasonic is doing for the community as well as the world. She is an extremely motivational and kind person, it was pleasure to speak with her. I recommend her services to anybody and everyone with questions and information. I look forward to hopefully being apart of the Panasonic family and team. I'd give the review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but it only goes to 5. Keep in mind that was only the phone call. If Panasonic employees are as much like her, they are in fact changing the world. Update ( resigned ) Not a place of fairness and equality things are going downhill fast ! Do not apply !

Worked there for 4 years. The lack of care towards safety and quality is astounding. I saw people threatened with murder and supervisors did nothing about it. Multiple serious health issues developed by many coworkers, including heavy metal poisoning from the exact metal we used. Women are treated horribly. I was told non functioning safety equipment was within spec, distpite not doing the one thing it was supposed to do. I was told this by the VP of safety. Safety department ignored manufacturers instructions on safety for confined spaces in the machines and made employees enter them despite us finding handfuls of pieces that had broken off of the safety equipment.
