Today January 3, 2026, Morningstar selected Tyler Technologies, which sells integrated software for the public sector, as the top growth stock to buy and hold for 2026. But I disagree with the publisher. First, the stock is down by nearly 25%, from $ 661.31 to $ 435.83, and is currently at the same price as at the beginning of 2025. Despite revenue of 2.30 B, the company does not pay dividends to its investors, and with a return of less than 1% over 5 years, this stock, TYL, is a loser. There are better firms out there. All the good reviews are from people that work there. Yeah, I bet it's great working there, because, apparently, you guys don't do anything. I have never dealt with worse software than the garbage these people produce. It is the most exasperating experience I have ever had dealing with a service like this. Amazon would go bankrupt in a no time if it made it as hard on the users of its service as Tyler Technologies does. Takes 15 minutes to finally get this idiotic system to realize that the filing location is already selected, then you have to make a bunch of useless selections to move forward.

I really like your company because when I file things into your company. You guys don't charge to then file it into the other company. I mean, case, and then the other case all for free, nothing for free.But you guys do it for free

Couldn't pay my water bill a couple months ago, the site was down for several DAYS and no one at my local water company even know. Means not only was the software down for DAYS, but they don't adequately communicate that to their customers, the utility provider. Software is missing basic features one would expect in a utility billing system and customer portal.
