I’m writing to formally raise a complaint against LivePlan (Palo Alto Software) regarding their unclear and undisclosed billing practices, and their inadequate handling of refund requests. I was recently charged for a subscription I had no idea was set to auto-renew. At no point during my original sign-up or on their pricing page was it made clear that the plan would renew automatically. There was also no information provided about how billing reminders or invoices would be sent, leaving customers unaware and unable to cancel in a timely manner. As a result, I was charged without any prior notification, invoice, or warning. I only discovered the charge after the fact — by then, it was too late to cancel. This unexpected charge triggered additional issues for me: - My credit card was flagged and cancelled by my bank, which I couldn’t resolve promptly due to a 14-hour time difference (I live in the U.S., and my bank is in China). - This delay negatively affected my credit score and caused significant inconvenience and stress. I reached out to LivePlan’s support team at least two to three times, clearly requesting a full refund for the past four months of unnotified charges ($40/m). However, despite multiple attempts and clear communication, they only refunded one month, which I find highly unreasonable given the lack of transparency on their part. It is unacceptable for a company to: - Not disclose auto-renewal policies up front - Not send reminders or invoices prior to charging customers - Fail to honor fair refund requests in situations where the customer was clearly not informed I believe this practice violates basic consumer rights!

Really bad support and deceitful they give you a number but it just directs you to email them. Liveplan software is very limited and can't do basic accounting for taxes and dividends. It says you can load images but when you do it won't let you download your final plan.

Makes you sign into a subscription for Liveplan, doesn't cancel the subscription when they say it's cancelled. Saps your bank account even though you're not using the software. Avoid

I went here on a field tripp the staff were super friendly and would answer any questions the students had. The CEO did a very nice presentation for us when we got there.
