I have been using Lavu for my restaurant and I’m very impressed. Top 3 things I loved: 1) The flexibility of the software that adapts to any workflow 2) Innovative features that keep the restaurant point of sale ahead of the curve 3) Support that is reliable, transparent and always responsive.

LAVU is the biggest scam ever! Beware!! When I called in to inquire about this system, I was told it would do everything I needed it to do. It doesn’t. I have been embarrassed so many times by this system. It doesn’t do rewards like they say. You have to manually do them. Who has time for this. Then they sneak charges in all the time. Like for direct access to your money, an onboarding fee, to accept gift cards, and for their virtual assistant to name a few. Reports are horrible. They try to get you to write reviews immediately, before you even have a chance to get to know this horrible machine. Just be very aware and do your research! I knew my credit card deposits were not correct. I asked for 2 months to get a report that showed my deposits. After 2 months of trying to get those, I finally did. To my surprise, I was charged an extra $600 that I was never told about for onboarding. Which was crazy because I felt like they should have been paying me for all the time they took up in phone call after phone call to get the system setup for 2 weeks straight while trying to open a new business. This place is a total scam. I just started to read the other reviews and replies from the company. Read these replies people. This is all AI replies. How sorry they are and to contact customer service. For what?? Lavu to tell you…sorry about your luck. We already took your money and you’re not getting it back because this is what I was told. This company is preying on small business owners and destroying them before they even get started. Absolutely disgusting.

I dont leave bad reviews, but I have called several times to get my menu drive situated. It was supposed to be complete by the 12th and still does not work. Any time I call they say we will forward you message to the correct team and they will call you back. The person that calls back is never the correct person and has to repeat the process all over again. I just need my QR CODES so I can start taking payments from my guest. Ive explained that my situation changed and I can only use qr codes as I am the only person operating the entire restaurant.

Award winning? By who? Their own made up media company? Don't believe the hype. I switched from Toast, one of the best but more expensive, to this POS (lol not point of sale) and what a mistake. You get what you pay for. Not only in 30 days has this company cost me tens of thousands of dollars and days of overtime work by employees trying to fix it, but the follow up service is horrendous. For weeks I have been leaving messages for my reps, managers, customer service and NOTHING. Of course I have canceled the service, not used them for weeks and they continue to try and charge my accounts thousands of dollars. Every day I call their non English speaking billing department asking for them to stop charging me and have a manager call me. NOTHING. The worst company to deal with yet they say they are award winning? If you can get past their fake positive reviews read the real ones. And before you use them, ask for references. I did, they only had 2 to give me in the little town of Phoenix and both said they are leaving Lavu. I cant make this up. Stay away!!!

Jacob was a true professional assisting me with my technical issue. He took the time to explain to me what we needed to do and we worked together to get my issue resolved! My business is good thanks to his support!!
