We used JRP's services for around 2 years. I think they were very professional. We had requests for quotes from over 40 companies. Some did not work out but there are ten that we are still active customers. Our top five customers that we got through them produce well over 1 million in sales per year. Our core business is producing parts for a local industry and we have in house sales people for that. JRP was instructed to stay away from the local industry and get us work outside of that. The only reason that we discontinued their services is that we were overwhelmed with work. We highly recommend them.

I’ve worked with JRP on several projects and have always been impressed with the amount of research and effort they invest in helping clients. I’ve found them to be responsive and honest, admitting when their approach and plan weren’t effective, always willing to work with everyone involved to improve results. Every business is unique, in terms of industry, marketplace, focus, region, etc. Going in cold and getting immediate results isn’t very realistic. I’ve never heard of another consulting firm that offered an all-inclusive single monthly fee and month-to-month working agreement (no long-term contracts). I’m glad I’ve stuck with them.

First sales guy called and told me they could increase my business by 20%. Said they worked with a lot of companies who use castings and they guaranteed us additional business. No commissions, just a monthly fee (over $9k/month). They had 6 experienced sales engineers calling on verticals we were not currently working with. We spent over an hour each week going over sales calls made by the sales team working on our behalf. Same story every week. NO NEW ORDERS!! This went on for over 6 months. They reduced the monthly fee to just over $5K when I threatened to pull the plug. Another 8 months of the same old thing, again with NO NEW ORDERS!! Finally I terminated the relationship after investing over $90K!! Since that time I have gotten at least 3 separate cold calls over the last few years from their salesmen trying to get us to work with them. These salesmen have no knowledge that they already milked us for $90K. I blasted each one who called and told them to never call again. My advice is, never let them in your facility. They run a classic bait and switch.

It's been at least a year since we parted ways with JRP but I feel compelled to write this review now due to additional circumstances. From the start, I should have been more aware of the type of salesmen that JRP was placing for our company to make sales calls. They hired well meaning people but who were not sophisticated in sales AND they should have been degreed engineers to match the sophistication of our product. Certainly for the amount of money they were charging monthly, this would have been possible. In the end, they didn't get one negotiation going in over 6 months AND they alienated at least one customer - a large one in KY. But - I forgave all that and chocked it up to a bad decision. I have to admit that it was also a bit odd that almost all the JRP personnel never had their video screens on when we had video calls. We always showed our faces - they never showed their faces - very odd. At the time, I was unable to find any linked in pages for any of the major characters either. Now - I just found out that the new website they built for us at their insistence (and our cost) never had Google tags inserted on the web pages and also did not have the XML page list in robots.txt. As a result, since the inception of the new website, our traffic went from several hundred a month to almost nothing. We were not recognized by Google because of the above omission. This is unconscionable and apparently the only way I can get any satisfaction at this point is to write this honest review. I hope it helps someone else make an informed decision. Tad Sendzimir
